The comic circles around Munas, a middle aged Pigeon flying enthusiast from Kochi. The comic was done in a workshop with the Kochi Biennale foundation and was mentored by Orijit Sen. The project is intended to be part of an anthology, consisting of stories of the people in Kochi. Working on this comic under the guidance of Orijit, along with some extremely talented people was a complete dream. Also, the Biennale team did a phenomenal job in providing us with translators and commute for our primary research. The comic Also looks at how the pigeon flying tradition came to exist in the Islamic community of India.
