Gaurav Sharma is a creative who defines himself as a visual designing, illustrating, ceramic making, storyteller. He has designed brand campaigns, editorials, visual narratives, digital and tactile products. His background in designing digital products lends to his experimental design methodology. His work derives inspiration from Indian mythology, Indian textiles and artefacts, South Asian identity, and sex and gender. He has seven years of experience in the creative industry, and he’s currently pursuing his masters in Illustration and Visual Media from University of the Arts, London. Prior to that, he was working as a Senior Associate Visual Designer with Quicksand Design Studio in Delhi, India.
