Bandra Railway station

‘Mumbai Isometric’ is a little hatke view of the roller coaster city of Mumbai. The idea was to illustrate Mumbai a little differently from how it’s always been portrayed so far, without leaving it bereft of the strong tidal waves of traffic and architecture of the city. Since I’m an outsider, I’ve always seen the city like a kaleidoscope of various vehicles commuting from everywhere to everywhere. It was fun to map out all the iconic buses and kaali-peelis in a minimalistic form.

Drawings of Local Train, Double decker, BEST bus, BEST bus, Ford Ikon, Wagon r, Maruti 800, Auto Rickshaw, Santro Kaali Peeli and Kaali Peeli
